Packing up108 viewsFortunately, the campground had a large room with a wood stove to keep us warm as we packed everything.

Simple Pleasures136 viewsI found a laundromat in Buenos Aires. You know – those stores that have a bunch of washing machines and you simply walk in, throw your clothes in a machine, insert a coin, turn a dial, and then walk away. When you come back your clothes are clean? And wrung out? Yup – that place.

Back in Boise194 viewsWhat a wonderful way to be welcomed back to Boise! We loved all the colorful signs welcoming us - wow!!

Big windows98 viewsWe have a large picture window in front and a huge sliding glass door - very energy inefficient. We're not sure yet what we'll do with them, but will need to do something.

The main room94 viewsThis is what I love about the house! When I took this picture I was standing in the doorway - it's just one big open room.
11071507.jpg
Spot for wood stove99 viewsWe hope to find a wood stove to put here - should be able to heat the whole house with a nice wood stove.
11071509.jpg
Kitchen108 viewsThe layout of the kitchen is nice, but that color has got to go!
11071514.jpg
Bathroom570 viewsI don't like how we'll have the sink in our lap when we're sitting on the throne, but there is nothing that can be done about that.

Floor641 viewsMost of the floor is actually in really good shape - but there are a few places with some gouges. It'll take a while to get the floor fixed up - there's a lot of hardwood in this house!Jul 16, 2011

Bedroom windows682 views...and exactly why did they put sticky paper on the windows? It's going to take a whole lot of Goo Gone to get that crap off!Jul 16, 2011

Bedroom612 viewsAnother "What were they thinking?" moment here. What's with the funky paint job on the ceiling of the bedroom?Jul 16, 2011

Bathtub570 viewsI could live with the brown walls of the bathroom, but seriously - what were they thinking here? They painted the bathtub brown. Yup - they really did.Jul 16, 2011

Bathroom578 viewsThe bathroom in this house the major "What were they thinking?" item. It's painted brown. The whole thing. From floor to ceiling. Brown. What were they thinking?Jul 16, 2011

Tile on kitchen wall623 viewsThis is one of those, "What were they thinking?" things - tiles on the kitchen wall. Yes - the very same tiles that would go on the floor are on the wall. This has got to go!Jul 16, 2011

Kitchen sink635 viewsThe sink looks good, but apparently leaks really badly. We're hoping it's just that the seals have dried out and cracked and that we don't have to replace the whole thing!Jul 16, 2011
