After riding the length of Norway during the summer of 1988, I rode around the island of Iceland. At this time there was only one road around the island and it was dirt so it was a rough ride. The landscape was lush green with no trees and lots of noticable geothermal activity. The interior of Iceland was pretty much uninhabited. It consisted of mountains, glaciers, and rivers.
What are we doing now?
Nancy is an artist and metalsmith making wearable art from recycled metal and antique components.
John is busy either hiking or planning his next long-distance hike.
Davy is studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Boise State University.
Daryl is studying Computer Science and Software Engineering at University of Texas Dallas.
