We’ve managed to keep ourselves busy lately. A trip to Quito to get new pages put in my passport and order a new passport for John… arranging details of tours for John’s mom and her friends in January… presenting slide shows to kids at the British school… It’s amazing how the days fill up so quickly!
Today we are in the old town of Quito exploring. Beautiful old churches, lovely plazas… What a treat!
We’ve now finally made some solid plans and will be heading out on Friday. The plan is to leave most of our gear with our friend Steve and make a big loop out into the Amazon. We’ll arrive back in Quito just in time for John’s mom to arrive. It’ll be great to go out and explore a different part of the country - we can’t wait to get back on the road!
