We made it to the equator today! We are going to go to the equator monument tomorrow. I bet that it is going to be very hot if there aren’t any clouds.
Today we climbed a lot, and I mean a lot. It went from warm to cold. The hill was very long and steep. Daryl walked most of it. The first part he rode but he got off and he started again at the top. I rode with him most of the time he was walking. Going down the hill was so cold that I had to put on my rain jacket to stop the wind. When we got to the bottom I had to take it off because it was HOT out. We went from cold to hot in like, a half of an hour!

Congratulations Davy! You are one tough kid to have made it that far. You (and Daryl and folks, too!) should be very proud of your accomplishment. I consider myself a cyclist, but not even remotely in your league! Keep having fun.
