After 21 years as a classroom teacher, Nancy Sathre-Vogel finally woke up and realized that life was too short to spend it all with other people's kids. She and her husband quit their jobs and, together with their twin sons, climbed aboard bicycles to see the world. They enjoyed four years cycling as a family - three of them riding from Alaska to Argentina and one exploring the USA and Mexico. Now they back in Idaho, putting down roots, enjoying life at home, and living a different type of adventure. Hey Guys: Nice article. I don’t speak Spanish fluently but am able to read it maybe on a second grade level. I can always tell when you are doing a photo opportunity – no helmets! I’ll be flying out to Miami next Saturday – we wanted to have time to get stuff shipped to Miami before we flew out. It’s kind of crazy to fly all the way to the states to pick up a part, but it looks like it’s the easiest and cheapest way of getting it!
And you’re right- we ALWAYS wear helmets except when we’re riding around a parking lot for a photo shoot!
